Anna Ternheim – ”The Winter Tapes”

In 2018 Anna Ternheim released the live album called ”The Winter Tapes” (via Universal Music/Capitol). It is a collection of 10 songs, recorded at different venues, in different cities during November/December of 2017. The release also included different vinyl color versions as a special Record Store Day release.

For me it was all about trying to capture that live moment, and transfer that into an iconic album artwork. The graphic design led me on a path where the grainy black and white images are the main focus, and all information, texts and fonts would be secondary.

In addition to the photographs, there is an extra folded 12″ sheet with two stylized circles that symbolizing Anna’s tattoos.
