Anna Ternheim – ”Psalmer från sjunde himlen”

This album marks Anna’s first release entirely in Swedish and it feels like a fully realized artistic statement. Written in collaboration with Jocke Berg and Martin Sköld, the album’s themes and tone informed every aspect of the visual narrative.

Anna Ternheim’s vision for her album Psalmer från sjunde himlen inspired my approach to the art direction and graphic design for the vinyl packaging and digital cover. The project began with a selection of stunning photographs by Gustav Bondesson and Pontus Fridemo. These images became the foundation for visualizing Anna’s evocative lyrics and capturing the album’s deeply atmospheric mood. My aim was to create a design that resonates with the emotional depth and authenticity of the music.

The final result is a cohesive and thoughtful design that complements Anna Ternheim’s poignant storytelling, enhancing the listener’s connection to the music while celebrating her creative journey.
