Bo Kaspers Orkester – ”Landet vi ärvde”

Bo Kaspers Orkester is a Swedish pop-rock band with strong influences of jazz, formed in 1991. The grammy winning band (Artist of the Year 1998) is considered one of Sweden’s and the Nordic countries’ most celebrated live bands and best-selling artists. The genre created by the band is usually described as slightly sophisticated with a mixture of pop, rock, jazz and Latin American music with hard-edged lyrics that depict everyday life and relationships in a modern metropolitan environment.

The new album ”Landet vi ärvde” (released via Sony/Columbia) was a commissioned project that included putting the titel (The Land We Inherited) in a visual framework and context. Inspired by the band’s own visual references, this minimalist approach was a winning concept.
