Candlemass – ”Shot of Doom”

The Swedish band Candlemass is a bombastic and epic sounding phenomenon. The band had a decisive influence on doom metal, and the genre itself is named after their debut album ”Epicus Doomicus Metallicus”. Since established in Stockholm 1984, they have released 12 acclaimed full-length records, and won awards for their music (including a Swedish Grammy).

Now they are also redefining the vodka shot. With two flavors, salt liqourice and viola liqourice, Candlemass not only claims the title of the doom-iest band on earth but also the Shot of Doom.

The label design is influenced by the simplicity of the band’s album covers. With a base of darkness, gothic fonts and shades of gray, the bottle both signals DNA from the band itself, but also creates an exciting and mysterious visual character. Which is spelled doom.

The Shots of Doom is available at pubs and restaurants all over Sweden. They can also be purchased at Systembolaget throughout Sweden.
